Bird Park and Aquarium Tour

Discover species from land, sky and sea on this fun but factual half-day tour of Malta’s best nature attractions. Your coach will first take you to the Bird Park where your tour guide will greet you and show you around the grounds, giving you fascinating facts about some of the species you will see along the way – over 200 types of bird and other animals in total. Look out for flamingos, pelicans, swans, storks, owls, cranes, parrots, kangaroos, wallabies, antelope, meerkats, deer, marmosets and much, much more! After this excellent visit you will board the coach to head to Qawra to visit the Malta National Aquarium, located on the picturesque promenade with views of St. Paul’s Islands. Here you can gaze into the 26 display tanks housing all manner of fish species, including those commonly found in Maltese waters. Later on go into the walk-through tunnel to watch sharks swimming above your head – quite a sight to see! At the end of this excursion you may wish to buy a fishy souvenir in the gift shop or enjoy a quick coffee in the cafe. If you are an animal fan, then this is one trip not to be missed.
